How do I start a Bank Deposit Request?

You can start a request through two ways:

Website

1. Log into mig33 using the login box at the top right hand corner of any mig33 page.
2. Go to the 'Account & Preferences' in the main menu, then 'Recharge'. Select 'Local Bank Deposit'.
3. All the information you need to make a request will be provided to you in a few easy steps.

Mobile Internet/WAP

1. Log into mig33 from your phone, either through the mig33 application or at http://m.mig33.com on your WAP browser.
2. Go to 'My Account' in the main menu, then 'Recharge'. Select 'Local Bank Deposit'.
3. All the information you need to make a request will be provided to you in a few simple steps.

Request bank details does not commit you to making a payment. You can stop at any time. If the Local Bank Deposit option does not appear, it may not be available in your country.

What Does the Bank Deposit Form look like?

Please first fill in the Local Bank Deposit Request to get mig33's bank details (see instructions above).

The bank deposit form asks for:

• Your name (Please enter your name)
• Payment Amount (Please enter how much you want to deposit)
• mig33's Bank Account Number (we will provide to you, please fill it in the bank deposit form)
• Payment Reference Number (we will provide to you, please fill it in the bank deposit form).
• Account Holder (This will be a Global Collect company. They are mig33's partner and they administer our Bank Deposit Process.)

If your bank deposit form looks different, please either ask the bank staff to help you, or scan a blank form and email it to us at contact@mig33.com. We will show you how to fill it in.

Are there fees?

Local Bank Deposit is usually free of charge. mig33 will not charge you anything. Some banks may charge a small fee. Please ask your bank.

I have my own bank account. Do I need to go to mig33's bank to do a Local Bank Deposit?

If you have your own bank account at the same or a different bank, you can tell the bank to transfer funds to the mig33 bank account. You can usually call your phone (Phone banking) or walk to your bank branch and tell them which account you want to transfer the money to, even if it is at another bank in your country. Just give them all the same details that we provide you, including your Payment Reference Number.

Do I need my own bank account to do a Local Bank Deposit?

You do not need to have a bank account to do a local bank deposit. Go to any branch of mig33's bank and they will let you deposit cash.

How does Local Bank Deposit work?

Local Bank Deposit is also known as Local Direct Deposit, Bank Transfer, or Electronic Funds Transfer.

Global Collect, a mig33 partner, works with banks throughout the world to help mig33 collect money. First you request a Payment Reference number and tell us you plan to make a deposit. Once you deposit your money at the bank and provide them the Payment Reference number, Global Collect tells mig33 the money has been collected. We credit your mig33 user account and send you an SMS notification.

What happens if I make a payment with Local Bank Deposit and my account is not credited?

Don't worry! Sometimes this can happen if there was not enough information filled out on the Bank Deposit form. Please keep your receipt as proof of payment. Please email us your receipt number, name and amount to contact@mig33.com if your account has not been credited after 5 days.

Please note that completing a Local Bank Deposit request online is not enough to get credits added to your mig33 username. You must complete a deposit into the mig33 bank account we provide to you before we can add credits.

What is the most I can send using Local Bank Deposit?

Outside of the US, the maximum Bank Deposit amount is USD$5,000 per person, per day. If you wish to send more, try doing the payments over a few days. Otherwise, you can use Telegraphic Transfer instead.
